Opportunity, performance and opponent context

Each sport uses its own inputs. MLB research considers batter and pitcher factors and environment. NFL views include role, usage and red-zone opportunity. NHL views include shot volume, ice time, power-play usage and goalie context. NBA research is in development.

Read probabilities with context

Historical hit rates and model estimates answer different questions. Recent results describe an observed sample; estimates describe a modeled outcome. Limited samples, projected starters and missing information should be considered alongside the estimate. A model estimate is a probability, not a promise or a sportsbook price.

Data and availability

Sport tools draw on public sports data, including league data and ESPN injury snapshots. Coverage and update timing vary. Current injury badges are informational and do not automatically alter model scores. Observed NHL units are historical combinations, not confirmed line assignments.
